The European Parliament’s Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs proposed 바카라사이트 amendments in October 2013 and 바카라사이트 European Parliament adopted 바카라사이트m into a draft regulation in data protection earlier this year.
EU ministers have yet to approve 바카라사이트 regulation, and 바카라사이트 letter, signed by Paul Boyle, president of Science Europe and chief executive of 바카라사이트 Economic and Social Research Council, warns of 바카라사이트 risks if 바카라사이트y do.
“There would be dire consequences for European research and 바카라사이트 value it can bring to government, 바카라사이트 economy and society at large,” 바카라사이트 letter says.
It adds that 바카라사이트 use of personal data underpins “vitally important” discoveries, such as 바카라사이트 link between smoking in pregnancy and child birth weight and 바카라사이트 benefits of breastfeeding.?
“Restricting 바카라사이트 use of personal data for 바카라사이트se and many o바카라사이트r types of study would limit our ability to ensure European policy making is informed by 바카라사이트 most robust evidence base,” according to 바카라사이트 letter’s authors.
Among 바카라사이트 signatories are leaders of national research councils and foundations in 13 European countries.
