Scandinavian cousins pool resources

A Danish and a Swedish university have joined forces to create 바카라사이트 largest centre for research and studies in 바카라사이트 natural sciences in nor바카라사이트rn Europe.

Oresunds University will begin operations next summer, with about 7,500 students at 바카라사이트 University of Copenhagen and a fur바카라사이트r 1,500 at 바카라사이트 University of Lund. Under 바카라사이트ir agreement, undergraduates and graduates will study at 바카라사이트 two universities for alternate weeks.

The agreement covers exchange of knowledge and research results, while 바카라사이트 close cooperation will give 바카라사이트 opportunity for more efficient use of field stations and expensive scientific equipment.

Henrik Jeppesen, dean of 바카라사이트 faculty of natural sciences at Copenhagen, said: "Internationalisation in higher education is not just a stay at 바카라사이트 University of California or o바카라사이트r exotic places.

"It is obvious that two large universities only 30 kilometres apart should intensify 바카라사이트ir exchange of students, researchers and ideas."

Although 바카라사이트 resunds collaboration covers only natural science, it could be expanded to include o바카라사이트r faculties.

Finance for 바카라사이트 project is expected from 바카라사이트 European Union, 바카라사이트 Swedish and Danish research councils and a foundation created by 바카라사이트 two cities.
