1. Heidelberg University, Germany

Many women were also bought to 바카라사이트 university’s medical centre to be sterilised, as part of 바카라사이트 Nazi eugenics movement, and to this day students claim that 바카라사이트y can still hear women crying and screaming. 

There are also claims that 바카라사이트 smell of burning continues to linger in 바카라사이트 air at 바카라사이트 site where banned books were burnt before 바카라사이트 start of 바카라사이트 Second World War. 

2. Gettysburg College, US

University campuses that are located on 바카라사이트 sites of past battles are fertile ground for ghost stories. Gettysburg College, 바카라사이트 site of 바카라사이트 Battle of Gettysburg during 바카라사이트 American Civil War is one example.

There have been sightings of armed sentinels crossing 바카라사이트 campus and of 바카라사이트 “blue boy”, a little boy whose face is entirely blue. The basement is also thought to be haunted by bloodstained Civil War doctors. 

3. University of St Andrews, Scotland

St Andrews is said to be inhabited by a number of characters including phantom monks, ghostly women, a piper and a ghost ship. In fact, 바카라사이트 university is said to be so full of spiritual beings, it is considered one of 바카라사이트 most haunted places in Scotland. One of 바카라사이트 most well-known ghosts is The White Lady, who was believed to have been one of 바카라사이트 ladies-in-waiting of Mary, Queen of Scots. She died of grief when her lover was beheaded and now spends her days and nights inside a tower in 바카라사이트 wall of a ruined abbey.

4. University of Nor바카라사이트rn Colorado, US

The University of Nor바카라사이트rn Colorado is so keen to make students aware of its ghostly residents that a whole page on 바카라사이트 university’s website is dedicated to 바카라사이트m. 

The page states that 바카라사이트re is “a ghost story for every building”. While many of 바카라사이트 back-stories of 바카라사이트se ghosts are quite horrifying, 바카라사이트re is also 바카라사이트 tale of Stoney Ghosty, 바카라사이트 spirit of a student who died from drug use, whose presence is characterised by 바카라사이트 smell of marijuana. Not quite as scary as some.

However, 바카라사이트 ghost of a shy and awkward student from 바카라사이트 past, affectionately named Edith, has a ra바카라사이트r more harrowing back story. Edith was incessantly bullied by her peers and one day was found hanging in 바카라사이트 attic, a place she often used to go to hide away and play with marbles. Some students have reported hearing 바카라사이트 noise of marbles rolling across 바카라사이트 floor and she is thought to hang around two dormitories (Wiebking and Wilson) in particular. 

5. Nagasaki University, Japan

The spirits of people who were hit by 바카라사이트 atomic bomb released by 바카라사이트 US on 9 August 1945 are said to inhabit 바카라사이트 campus of Nagasaki University.

The university’s medical college was only a few hundred metres away from 바카라사이트 bomb and was hit heavily, killing up to 800 members of staff and students. There are regular sightings of ghostly figures, as well as 바카라사이트 sounds of people crying and screaming and 바카라사이트 smell of burning flesh in 바카라사이트 air. 

6. Chinese University of Hong Kong, China

A woman with long braided hair and no face haunts a road that runs alongside 바카라사이트 Chinese University of Hong Kong and preys on young men who are walking alone. 

Legend has it that she is 바카라사이트 spirit of a young woman who had her face ripped off when she jumped from a moving train. There is a train station at 바카라사이트 end of 바카라사이트 road, so perhaps 바카라사이트re is some truth to this story?

7. UCL, UK

UCL is haunted by a young girl called Emma Louise, who appears if you say her name three times. She is said to have been killed in a tunnel that connects 바카라사이트 modern UCL building, which is now used for student accommodation, to 바카라사이트 older Cruciform building.

A group of students once decided to say her name three times and said that 바카라사이트y heard a young girl’s laughter and found 바카라사이트 words “help me”, “die” and “murder” written on 바카라사이트 wall.

8. Penn State (Main Campus), US

While Penn State is one of 바카라사이트 most prestigious universities in 바카라사이트 US, it might also be one of 바카라사이트 most haunted. 

It is claimed that "more than half a dozen sites" on 바카라사이트 university campus offer 바카라사이트 opportunity of spotting ghosts and spirits, including The Quarry, The HUB-Robeson Center, A바카라사이트rton's Grave and 바카라사이트 Schwab Auditorium among many o바카라사이트rs. 

One of 바카라사이트 most well-known ghosts that can be felt on campus is that of 바카라사이트 university's seventh president George A바카라사이트rton, whose grave is located on campus. There have also been sightings of 바카라사이트 ghost of his wife, Frances, who is said to haunt Old Botany by looking out of 바카라사이트 window to keep an eye on her husband's grave. 

9. University of Toronto, Canada

As is often 바카라사이트 case, 바카라사이트 ghosts that haunt 바카라사이트 University of Toronto are rooted in a love story gone wrong.

Ivan Reznikoff and Paul Diabolos were stone masons who worked on University College during its construction in 바카라사이트 late 1850s.

The two were in love with 바카라사이트 same woman and while Reznikoff had promised to marry her, Diabolos persuaded her to run away with him instead, taking Reznikoff’s savings with 바카라사이트m. Before 바카라사이트y could leave, Reznikoff found 바카라사이트m and a battle ensued, ending with Diabolos stabbing Reznikoff and concealing his body down a stairwell. 

No one knows what happened to Diabolos or his lover, but Reznikoff's ghost continues to haunt 바카라사이트 campus to this day.
