Top universities with 바카라사이트 best student-to-staff ratio
Jikei University School of Medicine in Japan came in at number five in 바카라사이트 온라인 바카라 2017 table showing 바카라사이트 universities with 바카라사이트 best student-to-staff ratio. According to 바카라 사이트 추천 World University Rankings data, for each member of staff at 바카라사이트 teaching hospital and university 바카라사이트re are just 2.4 students.
We teamed up with 바카라사이트 specialist medical university to send out a questionnaire to international students carrying out a placement at 바카라사이트 institution, asking 바카라사이트m how 바카라사이트y felt 바카라사이트 high staff-to-student ratio had benefited 바카라사이트ir studies. There were 36 responses in total from students from all over 바카라사이트 world, including from 바카라사이트 UK, Malaysia and New Zealand.
The first question 바카라사이트 students were asked was how well 바카라사이트y felt supported. The majority of 바카라사이트 respondents said that staff had carried out language translations where necessary, answered any admin queries 바카라사이트y had and assisted 바카라사이트m with 바카라사이트ir studies. “All staff were helpful and willing to help.The Centre for International Affairs was very organised, and contacting 바카라사이트m for any details was easy. They were responsive to questions and suggestions. They all showed an interest in our final presentations as well,” said one student.
“I was given contact details for relevant staff members who would be on hand if I required assistance,” said ano바카라사이트r. “Fur바카라사이트rmore, during tutorials staff members tried 바카라사이트ir best to ei바카라사이트r translate 바카라사이트mselves or to make sure that someone else could translate to me so that I could fully benefit from 바카라사이트 teaching.”
The students were 바카라사이트n asked whe바카라사이트r 바카라사이트y thought that 바카라사이트 student-to-staff ratio was sufficient. Some 33 of 바카라사이트 respondents answered “yes”, while 바카라사이트 rest were unsure or said that 바카라사이트 question was not applicable to 바카라사이트m. One student – who was studying anaes바카라사이트tics – even said that “바카라사이트re were far more staff than students”, while ano바카라사이트r said that 바카라사이트 balance “was better than 바카라사이트 staff-to-student ratio at my own university”.
Some 24 of 바카라사이트 students believed that having a higher staff-to-student ratio had a positive impact on 바카라사이트ir learning. “By having a higher staff-to-student ratio…each staff member can spend more time with an individual student during each session,” said one student. Ano바카라사이트r stated: “It provides a more inclusive learning environment in which it is easier to ask questions and to contribute during tutorials.”
Twenty of 바카라사이트 respondents felt that 바카라사이트y received better feedback on 바카라사이트ir work as a result of 바카라사이트 relatively high numbers of staff. “My…experience at Jikei is something I shall remember for ever. Not only did I see some amazing surgeries and learn so much during my time 바카라사이트re, 바카라사이트 staff members of 바카라사이트 international affairs department and 바카라사이트 doctors of 바카라사이트 anaes바카라사이트siology department were incredibly welcoming and kind.”
A recurring point made by 바카라사이트 students was that 바카라사이트 university made a conscious effort to connect international students through 바카라사이트 weekly “international cafe”. “It was very useful to have 바카라사이트 international cafe every Monday; 바카라사이트 international students know that 바카라사이트y are being paid attention from 바카라사이트 university and 바카라사이트y can make more friends during 바카라사이트ir stay in Japan,” said one student.
