Indian students encouraged to apply for scholarships in France

Applications to 바카라사이트 Charpak Master’s Scholarships 2017 are now open, 바카라사이트 Embassy of France in India has announced.
The scholarship supports students from India looking to pursue a one or two–year master’s degree in France across a number of fields of study. The deadline for application submission is Thursday 11 May 2017.
This year, 바카라사이트 Embassy of France has increased 바카라사이트 number of scholarships available to students to 500. Last year 370 students received scholarships.
This increase is part of a programme to welcome 10,000 Indian students into France by 2020. This has been developed by 바카라사이트 Embassy of France through Institut Français en Inde.
Students are selected based on 바카라사이트ir academic excellence and 바카라사이트 consistency and quality of 바카라사이트ir statement of purpose. Knowledge of French is considered an asset but is not mandatory.
The application process has been simplified this year through 바카라사이트 launch of an online platform. The online portal holds a database of scholars, avoids duplicate applications, uploads relevant documents and allows students to view 바카라사이트 status of 바카라사이트ir application.
The Charpak programme offers three types of scholarships at bachelor’s and master’s levels: 바카라사이트 Research Internship programme, 바카라사이트 Exchange programme and 바카라사이트 Master’s programme. These can all be applied to through 바카라사이트 online portal.
Scholarship winners will receive medical insurance, social security coverage, visa fee waivers and affordable housing solutions in France.
In 2016, France hosted more than 4,200 Indian students in French institutions, with 370 of those as scholarships owners. Some 120 of those received Charpak Master's Scholarships.
