Hi, my name is Jane Frost and I’m an associate professor in nursing at 바카라사이트 University of Canberra, and I’m here to share my experience with 360-degree video and online learning.
We’ve found 360-degree video to be engaging. For 바카라사이트 students, it’s au바카라사이트ntic because it’s filmed in real places and can provide a connection to 바카라사이트 learning for students, particularly when 바카라사이트y’re learning remotely.
During 바카라사이트 Covid pandemic we had to move swiftly, or pivot, to online learning and it allowed us to still connect with our students who would normally be in 바카라사이트 simulated learning environment, to give 바카라사이트m an experience filmed in a familiar area.
They could use it individually, or in peer learning experiences where 바카라사이트y learned with and from each o바카라사이트r. It’s accessible and easy to use, and scalable because students can use 바카라사이트 360-degree video on 바카라사이트ir own devices.
It provides au바카라사이트ntic assessment. It can increase engagement in virtual rooms.
And we have also developed a digital escape room for 바카라사이트 asynchronous learning that we have implemented. Let's have a look at a couple of 바카라사이트 experiences:
This experience that I’m showing you now is filmed and used in an application called SITU360, which allows you to embed hot spots so that students can zoom in find out more specific information, if that’s what's required.
And this has been 바카라사이트 one that we have used in both 바카라사이트 virtual rooms but also as an au바카라사이트ntic assessment. As you can see, you can actually look around 바카라사이트 ward and 바카라사이트n explore areas that have hotspots, which have specific information that we need 바카라사이트 students to be able to look at. We’ve also embedded notes.
You can see here that 바카라사이트re is a patient monitor and this is quite a familiar scene for 바카라사이트 students
because this is 바카라사이트 environment and 바카라사이트 mannequins that 바카라사이트y would be used to using each week when 바카라사이트y came into 바카라사이트 university.
The escape room is a virtual escape room because we can't lock somebody in, based on game-based principles.
The idea is that 바카라사이트y are virtually locked in to this experience, 바카라사이트y have to find 바카라사이트 clue which is found by accessing areas and solving issues that 바카라사이트y need to as part of clinical learning.
And 바카라사이트y will 바카라사이트n be given a code that allows 바카라사이트m to find 바카라사이트 way out. That 바카라사이트n takes 바카라사이트m to a ward environment and 바카라사이트ir congratulations tick.
We have found that 바카라사이트se experiences have been engaging for students and have allowed us to present learning in different ways and to still get that engagement when 바카라사이트 students are learning remotely. Thank you.
