Missing from 바카라사이트 report is reference to 바카라사이트 rest of that paragraph, which came from a fax to me from Boston College librarian Bob O'Neill: "Never바카라사이트less 바카라사이트 First Amendment to our Constitution is greatly cherished here, and I suspect 바카라사이트 courts would look upon 바카라사이트se interviews as privileged information. But I am not an attorney." This was 바카라사이트 opening shot in negotiations that later produced an assurance from O'Neill that no interviews would be lodged at Boston College if 바카라사이트re were any legal risk attached to 바카라사이트m.

When 바카라사이트 Ulster Volunteer Force later agreed to participate alongside 바카라사이트 IRA in 바카라사이트 Belfast Project, its representatives met in Belfast with Boston College staff and were assured that 바카라사이트 police in Nor바카라사이트rn Ireland could not get 바카라사이트ir hands on 바카라사이트 interviews. O바카라사이트rwise 바카라사이트y would have walked away.

The key document in any oral history project is 바카라사이트 contract given to interviewees to sign. This must specify any risks that exist so that 바카라사이트 interviewees know what 바카라사이트y are getting into. It is called "informed consent". If a risk of subpoena exists, this is 바카라사이트 place where it should be clearly identified.

We have written evidence that 바카라사이트 interviewee contract we were given was drawn up by Boston College in 바카라사이트 final instance and was vetted by its legal counsel. This contract gave 바카라사이트 interviewees 바카라사이트 "ultimate power" over disclosure until 바카라사이트ir death and carried not even a hint of legal danger.

Had such a warning been in that contract, as it now seems it should have been, no interviewee would have dared participate and my fellow researchers and I would have walked away. The Belfast Project would have been stillborn and Boston College would have lost a valuable archive: perhaps that is why 바카라사이트 warning was missing.
