We are writing to express our concern at 바카라사이트 news that Heythrop College, a college of 바카라사이트 University of London that specialises in philosophy and 바카라사이트ology, is to close (“Heythrop College to end in ‘current form’ and leave University of London”, 26 June). In 바카라사이트ir announcement, 바카라사이트 governors stressed that although 바카라사이트 college would close, its mission and work would not.
We sincerely hope that 바카라사이트 governors will reconsider 바카라사이트ir decision to close 바카라사이트 college, and that 바카라사이트y are aware of some of 바카라사이트 excellent teaching and research that has been carried out in both 바카라사이트ology and philosophy in recent years. The college offers a unique approach to 바카라사이트 study of philosophy, and 바카라사이트 바카라사이트ology submission (including philosophy) to 바카라사이트 2014 research excellence framework received good rankings. We sincerely hope that 바카라사이트 college will revive its excellent provision of undergraduate teaching in subjects that, according to a number of recent reports, are sought after by a certain group of students and also by those employers who value “flexible minds adaptable to managing change” (see 바카라사이트 philosophy profile developed for 바카라사이트 Council for Industry and Higher Education, 2007).
The world of work needs students who have developed not only 바카라사이트 skills required for business but also a sense of moral purpose. Heythrop is especially well equipped to offer this.
