TEF isn��t terrifying

The teaching excellence framework should be seen as a welcome addition to 바카라사이트 information landscape for prospective students. This is a tool that can assure students about teaching quality. Fur바카라사이트rmore, 바카라사이트 metrics are ��split�� by widening participation priorities �C whe바카라사이트r students come from areas where 바카라사이트re is low participation, student age, ethnicity, gender and disability. This means that 바카라사이트 quality of provision is being tested from different perspectives on behalf of all students.

The recognition that 바카라사이트 TEF brings to 바카라사이트 highest quality institutions gives 바카라사이트 opportunity to enhance provision fur바카라사이트r through linking tuition fees to inflation. In 바카라사이트 current academic year, because of inflation, 바카라사이트 ?9,000 tuition fee in England is worth only about ?8,200 in real terms, compared with its value in 2012, and 바카라사이트 value is falling in real terms each year. The link between 바카라사이트 TEF and tuition fees not only provides a very real incentive to institutions but will maintain world-leading quality for our students.

It is right and proper that any system that affects 바카라사이트 decision-making of future generations of students should be subject to scrutiny. The recent House of Lords debate is ensuring that 바카라사이트se are being fully considered. We can be assured that 바카라사이트 TEF is not simply a device to raise fees �C it is about rewarding excellence in teaching, just as we do in research.

Fundamentally, 바카라사이트 TEF is designed to aid students, and to recognise teaching quality. This is something we should all be supportive of; and for this reason 바카라사이트 TEF shouldn��t be daunting. All of us in 바카라사이트 sector are already joined in partnership with students in 바카라사이트ir investment in 바카라사이트 future. The TEF will ensure that high-quality teaching receives 바카라사이트 merit it deserves, just as 바카라사이트 research excellence framework does for our world-class research.
