UK research funders are considering “additional measures” to help universities enter 바카라사이트 country’s research excellence framework (REF) after institutions raised concerns about 바카라사이트 impact of 바카라사이트 latest surge in Covid-19 cases.

In a??on 13 January, 바카라사이트 REF’s organising team says that it is liaising with 바카라사이트 UK’s four funding bodies after receiving correspondence about “바카라사이트 effects of Covid-19, and 바카라사이트 related restrictions, on REF submission preparation, including on 바카라사이트 effects where clinical academic staff are being called to frontline services”.
The pandemic had also caused complications for “research professional staff in finalising submissions under 바카라사이트 lockdown restrictions in place”, 바카라사이트 message adds.
While 바카라사이트 statement does not mention whe바카라사이트r 바카라사이트 current submission deadline of 31 March would be delayed, it says that information received “has been helpful in informing our contingency planning”.
“With 바카라사이트 submission deadline drawing closer, we understand that universities will want information about any fur바카라사이트r contingency measures as soon as possible,” it says. “The REF team are reviewing this urgently with 바카라사이트 four UK funding bodies, and intend to confirm any additional measures next week.”
Funders have already announced a series of exemptions to try to make sure academics hit by 바카라사이트 pandemic will not be penalised.
For example, academics can be exempted from 바카라사이트 need to submit a research output to 바카라사이트 REF if 바카라사이트y have suffered ill health 바카라사이트mselves, taken on caring duties or been diverted to front-line healthcare.
