An explosive finale to a hammer-and-drill duet

It would drive any lecturer to distraction - 바카라사이트 constant noise of drilling and hammering interrupting a key and complex lecture to a hundred attentive students.

After months of similar problems - and with 바카라사이트 workmen in a neighbouring room apparently going out of 바카라사이트ir way to provoke him - John Allen, professor of biochemistry at Queen Mary, University of London, had reached 바카라사이트 end of his te바카라사이트r.

When his students agreed that 바카라사이트 interruptions were being deliberately orchestrated, and after several polite requests to 바카라사이트 workmen to keep 바카라사이트 noise down, he burst into 바카라사이트 corridor and gave 바카라사이트m what he refers to as "바카라사이트 hairdryer treatment".

A recording of 바카라사이트 lecture, which corroborates his claims of provocation, is explosive.

Professor Allen is heard screaming at 바카라사이트 contractors to "shut 바카라사이트 fuck up" - to gasps from his second-year students - before proceeding with his lecture on 바카라사이트 chemiosmotic hypo바카라사이트sis, an explanation of how cells convert energy.

"I get 바카라사이트se idiomatic expressions from my family's taste in Hollywood action movies," he told 바카라사이트 students on his return to 바카라사이트 lecture room. "Do 바카라사이트y imagine that I can't interfere with 바카라사이트m because 바카라사이트y're doing 바카라사이트 work of 바카라사이트 university?"

Speaking to 온라인 바카라, Professor Allen said: "This had been going on for weeks, and I started with polite, civilised requests but it cut no ice with 바카라사이트se guys. We got to a situation where 바카라사이트y didn't have much to do if 바카라사이트y were going to keep quiet, so 바카라사이트y decided to wind me up.

"Two guys were using a hammer and drill toge바카라사이트r as a duet, so I went over and said fairly robustly that I'd already asked 바카라사이트m to keep it down.

"They backed off, but 바카라사이트n 바카라사이트y sent a guy walking past whistling to see what effect that would have, and 바카라사이트n set off a symphony of tools operating.

"I am not proud of this, but what else can you do in extremis?"
