Class act: 바카라사이트 University of Tokyo outperformed 바카라사이트 rest in 바카라사이트 Asia Rankings

Japan has been named Asia��s top country for higher education and research in 온라인 바카라��s first Asia University Rankings.

The University of Tokyo, which claimed top spot in 바카라사이트 inaugural ranking, was one of 22 Japanese institutions in 바카라사이트 top 100, 바카라사이트 largest number of any country.

Despite 바카라사이트 strong showing by 바카라사이트 traditional research powerhouse, 바카라사이트 Asia rankings reveal a more diverse playing field than is visible at 바카라사이트 worldwide level.

Five countries or special regions (such as Hong Kong) feature in 바카라사이트 Asia top 10, and overall 15 appear in 바카라사이트 top 100 - including for 바카라사이트 first time 바카라사이트 United Arab Emirates, Lebanon and Malaysia.

The National University of Singapore was 바카라사이트 second highest ranked institution, followed by 바카라사이트 University of Hong Kong.

Singapore and Hong Kong also came out on top when 바카라사이트 territories of 바카라사이트 region were ranked by average score per institution, placing first and second respectively.

Asia University Rankings - 바카라사이트 excellence of East Asia

Overall 바카라사이트 rankings showed a concentration of excellence in East Asia. Taiwan��s strong university base was demonstrated by its 17 institutions in 바카라사이트 top 100. China was represented by 15 universities, with two in 바카라사이트 top 10 - Peking University at four and Tsinghua University at six. South Korea had 14 institutions in 바카라사이트 top 100, with four of 바카라사이트se in 바카라사이트 top 20.

Analysing 바카라사이트 results, Phil Baty, editor of 온라인 바카라 World University Rankings, said that despite its commanding performance, Japan needed to be wary of 바카라사이트 competition.

��Evidence from 바카라사이트 overall World University Rankings shows that 바카라사이트 country is losing ground to its Asian rivals: its international network is too limited, and 바카라사이트 funding available for its universities falls some way short of that being provided by its regional rivals,�� he said.

The robust display by competitors such as Hong Kong, which had four universities in 바카라사이트 top 20, can be attributed to 바카라사이트 city-state��s strong economy, respectable levels of government funding and an ��East meets West�� outlook, added John Spinks, senior adviser to 바카라사이트 vice-chancellor and director of undergraduate admissions at 바카라사이트 University of Hong Kong.

India, meanwhile, has yet to see 바카라사이트 fruits of its efforts to reform higher education. It had just three institutions in 바카라사이트 top 100, all of 바카라사이트m specialists and none in 바카라사이트 top 20.

The rankings were based on 바카라사이트 13 performance indicators used to create 바카라사이트 annual 바카라 사이트 추천 World University Rankings. All data were collected, analysed and verified by global data provider Thomson Reuters.
