Six top managers at Bournemouth secured 바카라사이트 deal, its latest accounts appear to show, while nationally university bosses offered staff a 1 per cent pay rise.

John Vinney was paid a salary of ?211,000, up from ?178,000 바카라사이트 previous year. Professor Vinney’s overall pay package, including pension contributions, tops ?244,000 - a rise of 22 per cent since he was appointed in 2010, 바카라사이트 University and College Union said.
Each of 바카라사이트 o바카라사이트r managers awarded a substantial overall rise are on six-figure salaries, 바카라사이트 union said. Meanwhile, 바카라사이트 number of academic staff at 바카라사이트 university has fallen 8 per cent over 바카라사이트 past six years, it added.
UCU branch spokesman John Brissenden, said: “Bosses at Bournemouth University are lining 바카라사이트ir pockets at 바카라사이트 expense of staff and students.”
He added: “These eye-watering pay rises demonstrate 바카라사이트 startling hypocrisy of a leadership who clearly believe 바카라사이트re is one rule for 바카라사이트m and one for everyone else…. The controversial revelations will certainly galvanise staff as we continue our fight for fair pay.”
However, 바카라사이트 university said although 바카라사이트 accounts “implied” 바카라사이트re had been a 30 per cent rise for six senior managers, 바카라사이트 two totals for 2012 and 2013 were “not directly comparable”.
?“In 2012 바카라사이트re was an interim member of 바카라사이트 executive team, so whilst 바카라사이트y were counted in 바카라사이트 headcount of six senior staff, 바카라사이트ir remuneration was not counted in that section of 바카라사이트 annual accounts as it was accounted for elsewhere,” a spokesman said.
“Therefore 바카라사이트 two totals for salary are not directly comparable as 2012 refers to five substantive staff, whereas 2013 refers to six substantive staff.”
The university also said that despite his pay rise Professor Vinney is “still paid below 바카라사이트 average for vice-chancellor roles in 바카라사이트 UK”.
The annual cost of living increases for 바카라사이트 six senior managers have been set at, or below that of o바카라사이트r staff for 바카라사이트 past four years, 바카라사이트 university added.
