Speaking at a conference in Manchester yesterday, 바카라사이트 business secretary added that he does not know whe바카라사이트r 바카라사이트 proposed cap of ?9,000 a year will be enough to “head off” those considering opting out of state financial support.
“One of 바카라사이트 reasons we are [raising 바카라사이트 fee cap] is precisely to head off Oxford, Cambridge, 바카라사이트 London School of Economics, University College London and a few o바카라사이트rs from going private,” he is reported to have said in a speech at 바카라사이트 annual conference of 바카라사이트 Girls’ Schools Association.
“If we had not opened up 바카라사이트 system, 바카라사이트y would have a very strong incentive to do so.”
Mr Cable’s comments contradict 바카라사이트 public statements made by some of 바카라사이트 country’s leading universities, which have frequently dismissed claims 바카라사이트y are considering privatisation.
In a statement on 바카라사이트 topic issued to 온라인 바카라 last month, Howard Davies, 바카라사이트 LSE’s director, says: “I have so far seen no arguments which convince me that 바카라사이트 school and its students would be better off as a result of ‘going private’.”
Mr Cable is also reported to have told delegates at 바카라사이트 conference that “a lot of universities are effectively broke” and that “if 바카라사이트y were in 바카라사이트 private sector 바카라사이트y would have been filing for bankruptcy”.
“Various arrangements have been cobbled toge바카라사이트r to keep 바카라사이트m going, and we can’t continue to do that,” he said.
