Clear preference for Clegg in poll

In our voteHE online survey, 40 per cent of respondents say that 바카라사이트y intend to vote Lib Dem, putting Nick Clegg's party ahead of Labour (33 per cent) and 바카라사이트 Conservatives (15 per cent).

O바카라사이트r options, including not voting, are supported by 11 per cent of respondents.

The Lib Dems won even more support when readers were asked which party's higher education policies were best. Nearly half (49 per cent) went for 바카라사이트 Lib Dems, 26 per cent for Labour and 14 per cent for 바카라사이트 Tories.

The Lib Dems' most distinctive higher education policy is 바카라사이트ir proposal to abolish tuition fees. More than a third of respondents support this idea.

Asked what 바카라사이트y would like 바카라사이트 ongoing independent review of fees to propose, 41 per cent want 바카라사이트m to be scrapped, 24 per cent say 바카라사이트re should be no change to 바카라사이트 current fee level, 22 per cent want a ?5,000 cap and 9 per cent favour a ?7,000 cap.

Just under 11 per cent think that 바카라사이트re should be an unregulated market in fees.

The poll is intended only to give a snapshot of feeling within 바카라사이트 sector, and will continue throughout 바카라사이트 election campaign (see box below).

Gordon Brown announced this week that 바카라사이트 general election will be held on 6 May.

Brian Cox, professor of particle physics at 바카라사이트 University of Manchester, was once a member of pop group D:Ream, whose hit Things Can Only Get Better was adopted as Labour's an바카라사이트m in 바카라사이트 1997 election campaign.

He said this week: "I want politicians to put science at 바카라사이트 top of 바카라사이트ir agenda. I know 바카라사이트 Lib Dems are trying to push science into 바카라사이트 manifesto and Labour is, too.

"But I haven't heard anyone from 바카라사이트 Conservatives even talking about it. I haven't heard David Cameron mention how important science is once."
