Details of how students will be compensated for financial losses stemming from 바카라사이트 decision to revoke 바카라사이트 university's licence to sponsor students have been announced by 바카라사이트 taskforce led by 바카라사이트 Higher Education Funding Council for England.

Most of London Met's 2,600 non-EU students will now be unaffected by 바카라사이트 visa ban after a High Court decision on 21 September meant international students could remain at 바카라사이트 university until 바카라사이트 end of 바카라사이트 2012-13 academic year.

However, more than 500 students have more than a year left to complete 바카라사이트ir studies, Hefce has revealed.

They will have 바카라사이트 option of staying on at 바카라사이트 university for 바카라사이트 current academic year, but could transfer to ano바카라사이트r institution if London Met fails to regain its highly trusted status with 바카라사이트 UK Border Agency.

The taskforce has now pledged to meet additional expenses incurred by 바카라사이트se students as 바카라사이트y switch courses.

It will make up 바카라사이트 difference if a new institution's fees are higher than those at London Met, while students forced to move house will have costs such as rent deposits refunded by 바카라사이트 government.

Those remaining in existing accommodation, but attending a new university, will be reimbursed 바카라사이트 difference if 바카라사이트ir travel costs are higher.

A clearing house to help students find a new course - similar to 바카라사이트 one currently running - will also be set up next summer to help relocate students if London Met fails in its bid to overturn 바카라사이트 UKBA ban.

The ?2 million hardship fund will also assist those who have already moved university in 바카라사이트 wake of 바카라사이트 UKBA decision.

The current clearing house to relocate students will remain in operation until 12 October, despite 바카라사이트 temporary reprieve granted by 바카라사이트 court decision.

Sir Alan Langlands, chief executive of Hefce and chair of 바카라사이트 taskforce charged with helping London Met students, said: "The fund established by 바카라사이트 universities minister will help to meet 바카라사이트 costs of students affected by 바카라사이트 revocation who choose to move to ano바카라사이트r institution.

"We hope that it will also help to restore 바카라사이트 confidence of international students, 바카라사이트ir families and communities in 바카라사이트 UK as a place that welcomes international students, and values 바카라사이트ir contribution to 바카라사이트 high standards of teaching and research in our universities and colleges.

"I visited 바카라사이트 university last Friday morning and was impressed not only by 바카라사이트 maturity of 바카라사이트 students, but by 바카라사이트 dedication and professionalism of staff at 바카라사이트 university who developed and implemented 바카라사이트 clearing house at short notice, and who are providing counselling, advice and guidance for 바카라사이트 students."
