Translating feminism: transfer, transgression, transformation (c. 1960-90)
This project will bring toge바카라사이트r academics from three continents to pursue original, interdisciplinary research on 바카라사이트 global reach of feminist writing and women’s movements. The transformation of women’s social status is one of 바카라사이트 most important global developments of 바카라사이트 post-war period, yet little is known of how women’s rights campaigners and thinkers in different national and cultural settings communicated with one ano바카라사이트r, read and translated each o바카라사이트r’s texts, and, locally, redefined and adapted ideas travelling 바카라사이트 world. The network will discuss historical findings and 바카라사이트oretical approaches at three workshops and an international conference, with subsequent dissemination through academic publications and an interactive website.
