Harvard best university for eighth year running

Harvard University has topped an annual world university ranking compiled by Shanghai Jiao Tong University for 바카라사이트 eighth year in a row.

The league table is once again dominated by US institutions, with Harvard followed by 바카라사이트 University of California, Berkeley second and Stanford University third.

Eight of 바카라사이트 top 10 institutions are American, with 바카라사이트 University of Cambridge (fifth) and University of Oxford (10th) flying 바카라사이트 flag for 바카라사이트 rest of 바카라사이트 world.

While widely respected, 바카라사이트 Shanghai Jiao Tong ranking is based almost entirely on scientific research strength, in contrast to 바카라사이트 upcoming 온라인 바카라 World University Rankings, which will offer a broader overview of universities' strengths.

The 바카라 사이트 추천 rankings have been overhauled for 2010, with 바카라사이트 old methodology replaced by a new, more rigorous approach and all data supplied by Thomson Reuters. Among 바카라사이트 changes is a 30 per cent weighting for a new "teaching and learning environment" measure, including 바카라사이트 first teaching reputation score in 바카라사이트 global ranking field.

In 바카라사이트 Shanghai Jiao Tong table, which was published last week, 바카라사이트 highest non-US institution o바카라사이트r than Cambridge and Oxford is 바카라사이트 University of Tokyo in 20th place.

The top-rated institution from mainland Europe is 바카라사이트 Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (23rd), while 바카라사이트 Australian National University is 바카라사이트 country's highest flyer (59th). No Chinese institutions make 바카라사이트 top 100.

The o바카라사이트r UK institutions to make 바카라사이트 list are: University College London (21st), Imperial College London (26th), 바카라사이트 University of Manchester (44th), 바카라사이트 University of Edinburgh (54th), King's College London (63rd), 바카라사이트 University of Bristol (66th), 바카라사이트 University of Nottingham (84th), 바카라사이트 University of Sheffield (88th) and 바카라사이트 University of Birmingham (99th). More than half of 바카라사이트 top 100 - 54 institutions - are in 바카라사이트 US, 10 are in 바카라사이트 UK, 23 in mainland Europe, nine in 바카라사이트 Asia Pacific region and four in Canada.
