Hertfordshire appoints new vice-chancellor

Quintin McKellar, principal of 바카라사이트 Royal Veterinary College, will take over from Tim Wilson when he retires, writes Sarah Cunnane

The University of Hertfordshire has announced that Quintin McKellar will take up 바카라사이트 post of vice-chancellor when Tim Wilson retires after seven years at 바카라사이트 helm.

Professor McKellar is currently principal of 바카라사이트 Hertfordshire-based Royal Veterinary College, a position he has held for 바카라사이트 past six years.

Prior to this, he was 바카라사이트 director of 바카라사이트 Moredun Research Institute and professor of veterinary pharmacology at 바카라사이트 University of Glasgow.

Professor McKellar is also an accomplished rower who represented Scotland in 바카라사이트 1986 Commonwealth Games.

Jo Connell, chair of 바카라사이트 university’s board of governors, said he would be “an excellent and inspiring vice-chancellor who will build on 바카라사이트 university’s reputation as innovative and enterprising and will ensure that it continues to be seen as an exemplar in 바카라사이트 sector”.

Professor McKellar will take up 바카라사이트 vice-chancellor post in January 2011.
