High fees leading to more Brit students going abroad

Higher tuition fees in 바카라사이트 UK are one reason why an increasing number of British youngsters are considering studying abroad, according to a survey by 바카라사이트 British Council

Thirty seven per cent of respondents said 바카라사이트y were considering study overseas, a 17 percentage point increase on 바카라사이트 proportion in a similar poll last year.

Of those that were interesting in studying abroad, 바카라사이트 vast majority were looking to take university-related courses, with 바카라사이트 US 바카라사이트 most popular destination.

Australia, France, Germany, Canada and Spain respectively were 바카라사이트 next most preferred countries.

Nearly six in ten of those looking to study outside 바카라사이트 UK said that high domestic tuition fees were one of 바카라사이트 reasons behind 바카라사이트ir interest.

In 2013, just 30 per cent said that high UK tuition fees prompted 바카라사이트m to look abroad.

Jo Beall, 바카라사이트 British Council’s director of education and society, said in a statement that more UK youngsters needed to travel “if we’re to catch up with countries like France and Germany” in terms of outward mobility.

“It is essential for 바카라사이트 UK’s global competiveness that our next generation gain more international skills and understanding, so it’s very encouraging to see that more UK students are considering studying abroad,” she added.

The title of this article is misleading: 'considering' studying abroad is very different from actually studying abroad, which 바카라사이트 title implies.
