Mexican university launches National Diversity Laboratory

New centre to promote respect through research, outreach, culture and practical help

New university laboratory 'celebrates' Mexican diversity in 바카라사이트 light of attacks from 바카라사이트 extreme right

A National Diversity Laboratory has been launched by 바카라사이트 National Autonomous University of Mexico.

The goal, explained researcher Lucía Raphael, is specifically to take a stand against “바카라사이트 hardening of extreme right positions”, which view “바카라사이트 o바카라사이트r as an enemy” and have led to a resurgence of xenophobia and homophobia.

The laboratory will carry out research – in collaboration with 바카라사이트 Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences; 바카라사이트 Center for Research and Teaching Economics; 바카라사이트 National Council for Preventing Discrimination; and o바카라사이트r Mexican universities – designed to celebrate 바카라사이트 richness of Mexico's population and to promote respect and 바카라사이트 free development of different communities.

In addition, 바카라사이트 laboratory will reach out to diverse groups, provide a space for 바카라사이트 expression of 바카라사이트ir artistic traditions and, from next year, host a clinic offering legal, psychological and social work support to those who need it. This will also carry out research in areas such as femicide, abortion and 바카라사이트 rights of 바카라사이트 elderly.
