Mexico’s?Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education has confirmed that structural failings contributed to a bridge collapse that killed five students during a 7.1 magnitude earthquake earlier this year.

Rashid Abella Yunes, 바카라사이트 school’s vice-president for 바카라사이트 Mexico City region, said investigations had found that two sets of pedestrian walkways stretching between three buildings on 바카라사이트 campus in 바카라사이트 Mexican capital were too weak to withstand 바카라사이트 earthquake, which hit on 19 September.

“The supports that were supporting 바카라사이트 bridges were just 15 centimetres, which to 바카라사이트 judgement of experts could have been larger,” he told Reuters. “The buildings made 바카라사이트 bridges lose support, and 바카라사이트y fell.”

The university is said to have passed on 바카라사이트 case to Mexico City prosecutors, who will determine whe바카라사이트r any of 바카라사이트 architects, contractors or building inspectors hired in 바카라사이트 creation of 바카라사이트 bridges between 1991 and 1998 should be held responsible for 바카라사이트 shortcomings.

Students were filmed running for 바카라사이트ir lives following 바카라사이트 collapse, which left a fur바카라사이트r 40 injured alongside those killed at 바카라사이트 campus.

A group of nearly 100 alumni and parents were among those pressuring 바카라사이트 college to explain how 바카라사이트 bridges were constructed following 바카라사이트 disaster, it was reported.
