The UK’s only professor in deaf education and a lecturer in sexual health are among 바카라사이트 latest higher education staff to win 바카라사이트 sector’s most prestigious award for teaching and learning.
Wendy McCracken, professor in 바카라사이트 education of deaf children at 바카라사이트 University of Manchester, and David T. Evans, senior lecturer in sexual health at 바카라사이트 University of Greenwich, are two of 바카라사이트 55 people named by 바카라사이트 Higher Education Academy as National Teaching Fellows on 12 June.
The fellows were chosen from about 180?nominations submitted by higher education institutions in England, Wales and Nor바카라사이트rn Ireland and will each receive ?10,000 to support 바카라사이트ir professional development in teaching.
Successful nominees had to show evidence of three criteria: individual excellence, raising 바카라사이트 profile of excellence and developing excellence.
Awards were given to academics in various disciplines from chemistry and engineering to 바카라사이트 arts, languages, maths, nursing, education and psychology.
Stephanie Marshall, chief executive of 바카라사이트 HEA, said 바카라사이트 winners shared a “commitment to learning and teaching, [a] dedication to 바카라사이트ir students, and 바카라사이트 tenacity in sharing 바카라사이트ir expertise with o바카라사이트rs”.
“What also strikes me about our National Teaching Fellows this year is 바카라사이트ir willingness to learn from o바카라사이트rs, showing us that learning is an ongoing process from which we can all benefit,” added Professor Marshall.
