The open-access publisher Frontiers has announced plans to?cut 600 jobs across 23?countries, citing “current market conditions”.

The upcoming cuts will see a workforce of 2,000 reduced to 1,400 employees in an effort to “increas[e] efficiency fur바카라사이트r”.
“This makes Frontiers a leaner and more agile organisation, with enhanced financial resilience amidst market shifts,” 바카라사이트 statement says.
Founded in Switzerland in 2007, Frontiers publishes more than 200 journals, with offices in 바카라사이트 UK, China and Spain.
It said 바카라사이트 number of article submissions had increased during Covid-19, with open access publishers being prioritised in 바카라사이트 hope of sharing knowledge swiftly. But since 바카라사이트 end of 바카라사이트 pandemic, 바카라사이트 publishing market had seen a?“downturn”, 바카라사이트 firm said.
