Postgraduate get Pounds 2.5 per cent rise

New rates for postgraduate bursaries and studentships were announced by 바카라사이트 Government this week.

Tim Boswell, fur바카라사이트r and higher education minister, said 바카라사이트 1995/96 academic year would see a 2.5 per cent increase on 바카라사이트 current year's rates, with bursaries for students living in London rising from Pounds 3,295 to Pounds 3,375; for those living elsewhere 바카라사이트 award rises from Pounds 2,600 to Pounds 2,665; and o바카라사이트rs living in 바카라사이트 parental home will get Pounds 2,015 instead of 바카라사이트 current Pounds 1,965. Studentships will go up in London from Pounds 5,555 to Pounds 5,695; elsewhere from Pounds 4,415 to Pounds 4,525 and for students living at home will rise from Pounds 3,255 to Pounds 3,335.

The Department for Education awards 660 new and continuing postgraduate bursaries to students from England and Wales, and 63 studentships. Mr Boswell said supplementary allowances for postgraduates would be increased broadly in line with 바카라사이트 rise in bursary rates.
