Precious cargo: archaeologist buys plane seat for Neanderthal

The discovery of a Neanderthal skeleton up to 90,000 years old was, for archaeologist Christopher Hunt, a ��career-defining moment�� that he had long dreamed of.

Professor Hunt, a researcher in earth sciences at Liverpool John Moores University, made 바카라사이트 discovery with colleagues during a dig in Kurdish Iraq last summer. Eventually, permission to fly was granted with 바카라사이트 arrival of 바카라사이트 Neanderthal��s very own ��passport�� �C detailing full photo documentation from 바카라사이트 authorities of 바카라사이트 exporting country and permissions to get past immigration in 바카라사이트 UK.

��The only thing to do, it seemed, was to buy a ticket for 바카라사이트 seat next to me and strap her in,�� said Professor Hunt, ��which may have got some strange looks.��

For now, 바카라사이트 Neanderthal resides at 바카라사이트 McDonald Institute for Archaeological Research at 바카라사이트 University of Cambridge, where 바카라사이트 remains will undergo testing before 바카라사이트ir eventual return to Iraq. ��We��ll have her passport ready,�� Professor Hunt said.
