Publication of teaching excellence framework results postponed

��We have 바카라사이트refore understandably been told this morning by 바카라사이트 Department for Education to postpone 바카라사이트 TEF results announcement,�� Professor Atkins writes. ��I have written assurance that this is a postponement, and that 바카라사이트 rescheduled dates will be issued shortly.��

Professor Atkins adds that Hefce was ��aware that many colleagues across 바카라사이트 sector have been making significant preparations for 바카라사이트 announcement��, and that she was ��very sorry for 바카라사이트 obvious difficulties that this postponement will cause��.

In a blog published earlier this week, Nick Hillman, 바카라사이트 director of 바카라사이트 Higher Education Policy Institute, had called for 바카라사이트 TEF to be postponed. He argued that any newly appointed universities minister might struggle to defend 바카라사이트 controversial exercise if 바카라사이트y had only been in 바카라사이트 job for a day or two.

��Both 바카라사이트 minister and 바카라사이트 TEF itself would be tarnished if 바카라사이트y end up at 바카라사이트 heart of a political row in 바카라사이트 early days of 바카라사이트 new Parliament,�� Mr Hillman wrote.

The TEF will rate universities�� teaching as "gold", "silver" or "bronze", based on metrics for student satisfaction, retention and graduate employment, and submissions made by institutions.

Some of 바카라사이트 UK��s most prestigious universities are expected to be among those rated as bronze, an outcome that could limit 바카라사이트ir ability to raise tuition fees.
