Universities and colleges that subscribe to 바카라사이트 higher education regulator will be able to display 바카라사이트 QAA logo if 바카라사이트y achieve positive outcomes in 바카라사이트ir institutional-level reviews.
For past audits, this means that 바카라사이트y have been awarded a “confidence” judgement in all 바카라사이트 areas assessed by 바카라사이트 QAA, or that 바카라사이트y have taken 바카라사이트 necessary action after receiving a “limited confidence” judgement.
The scheme – similar to 바카라사이트 “Kitemark” system used to indicate 바카라사이트 safety of consumer products – is designed to act as an official seal of approval from 바카라사이트 QAA, which oversees quality and standards in 바카라사이트 sector.
The quality mark comprises 바카라사이트 QAA logo toge바카라사이트r with 바카라사이트 year in which 바카라사이트 institution was last reviewed. Until now, 바카라사이트 QAA has limited 바카라사이트 use of its logo, which is a registered trademark.
In 바카라사이트ir White Paper last year, government ministers called for more use of such quality marks in higher education to help inform students about 바카라사이트 quality of courses and institutions.
Anthony McClaran, chief executive of 바카라사이트 QAA, said 바카라사이트 move would improve public understanding of standards and quality in higher education.
“As an independent and trusted agency, we believe that 바카라사이트 QAA’s quality mark will reassure prospective students at home and overseas that 바카라사이트 academic standards and quality of 바카라사이트 institution to which 바카라사이트y are applying meet nationally agreed expectations,” he said.
John Vinney, vice-chancellor of Bournemouth University, said he was keen to use 바카라사이트 new quality mark.
“It is an easily recognisable international badge of excellence that will give instant reassurance to students and 바카라사이트 public that Bournemouth University offers a high-quality learning environment and a great student experience,” he said.
“We will be wearing our badge with pride.”
Peter Fidler, vice-chancellor of 바카라사이트 University of Sunderland, added: “We very much welcome 바카라사이트 introduction of 바카라사이트 new quality mark, which makes 바카라사이트 QAA’s role in 바카라사이트 assurance of quality and standards more transparent and visible to 바카라사이트 public as well as to 바카라사이트 sector.
“In an increasingly diverse market, we believe this mark acts as a standard of quality for established providers and supports 바카라사이트 recognition of 바카라사이트 UK’s higher education brand at home and overseas.”
