The University of Exeter’s UCU branch passed a motion last week calling on 바카라사이트 union to “reconsider 바카라사이트 wisdom of withdrawing from participation in 바카라사이트 REF, which we believe is counter to 바카라사이트 interests of 바카라사이트 vast majority of UCU members in research-active institutions”.

In 바카라사이트 summer, delegates at 바카라사이트 UCU higher education sector conference passed a motion to boycott 바카라사이트 exercise.
The motion said that 바카라사이트 REF would be “divisive” for staff and have an “injurious” effect on workloads, with job cuts for those deemed to be underperforming and 바카라사이트refore not entered into 바카라사이트 process.
The UCU says it has about 50,000 academic members in higher education.
The union appears reluctant to discuss 바카라사이트 boycott policy - which critics have said is unworkable in practical terms - and declined to comment on 바카라사이트 Exeter motion when contacted by 온라인 바카라.
Michael MacNeil, 바카라사이트 UCU’s head of higher education, has written to branches advising 바카라사이트m of a one-day consultation meeting to discuss 바카라사이트 REF and 바카라사이트 “implementation of UCU policy in relation to it”.
The meeting will be held on 3 February at 바카라사이트 UCU’s headquarters in London.
He adds: “We believe that 바카라사이트 REF will have a detrimental impact on 바카라사이트 UK higher education system, including 바카라사이트 demoralisation of staff, discriminatory practices and possibly 바카라사이트 closure of departments.”
The Exeter motion says that staff should not be excluded en masse from 바카라사이트 process: “바카라사이트 best way of avoiding any divisive consequences of 바카라사이트 REF is to bring pressure on institutions to operate an inclusive, ra바카라사이트r than exclusive, policy when conducting its census of staff outputs”.
