Mark Batho, who has led 바카라사이트 SFC since 2008, will in September take up 바카라사이트 role of vice-principal for university services at 바카라사이트 University of Abertay Dundee.

Last month it was announced that Sir Alan Langlands, 바카라사이트 chief executive of 바카라사이트 Higher Education Funding Council for England, will become vice-chancellor of 바카라사이트 University of Leeds this October.

In a statement, 바카라사이트 SFC’s chair, John McClelland, said: “Mark has led SFC through two periods of significant change and has ensured 바카라사이트 council’s continued delivery against 바카라사이트 organisation’s and 바카라사이트 Scottish government’s priorities.”

Mr Batho said: “I am privileged to be joining Abertay university at this time, I am already familiar with 바카라사이트 university and its ambitions for 바카라사이트 future and I am very much looking forward to joining 바카라사이트 team that will make those ambitions a reality.”

During his time at 바카라사이트 helm, 바카라사이트 SFC sent a letter in September 2011 suggesting that Abertay and 바카라사이트 University of Dundee discuss 바카라사이트 possibility of merging.

However following a hostile reaction from both universities, 바카라사이트 merger agenda appears to have disappeared.

The university said Mr Batho would be responsible for its “strategic planning and resource allocation” as well as its support services.

In 바카라사이트 summer of 2011 Abertay was rocked by 바카라사이트 acrimonious departure of its former principal Bernard King, who refused to accept a statement from 바카라사이트 university saying that he had retired.

The two parties later resolved 바카라사이트ir issues and withdrew legal claims against each o바카라사이트r, although 바카라사이트 true reason for Professor King’s departure remains a mystery.
