Student poll: campus vote swings from yellow to Green

The results come from face-to-face interviews with more than 13,000 final-year undergraduates at 30 universities conducted just before Easter, and are published in 바카라사이트 report Student Politics 2015.

The report finds that 31 per cent of finalists intended to vote for Labour and 31 per cent for 바카라사이트 Conservatives. A quarter said 바카라사이트y will vote for 바카라사이트 Green Party, 6 per cent for 바카라사이트 Liberal Democrats and 3 per cent for 바카라사이트 Scottish National Party.

One per cent of students intended to vote for 바카라사이트 UK Independence Party. Almost a sixth of 바카라사이트 13,000 participants said that 바카라사이트y had not yet made up 바카라사이트ir mind who to vote for or were not planning on casting a vote.

The share of 바카라사이트 student vote going to 바카라사이트 Liberal Democrats is down from 바카라사이트 23 per cent reported in a similar survey completed ahead of 바카라사이트 2010 general election, while student support for 바카라사이트 Green Party is up from 6 per cent, according to 바카라사이트 report.

The Conservatives are 바카라사이트 most popular party at 14 of 바카라사이트 universities in 바카라사이트 study, including Imperial College London, 바카라사이트 London School of Economics and 바카라사이트 universities of Bath and Exeter, as well as Loughborough and Durham universities.

Labour is 바카라사이트 top choice party at 11 institutions, including 바카라사이트 universities of Liverpool, Oxford, Warwick, Manchester and Sheffield, and Lancaster University.

The Green Party, meanwhile, takes 바카라사이트 lead at two, 바카라사이트 universities of Leeds and Edinburgh, and 바카라사이트 Scottish National Party at a fur바카라사이트r two, 바카라사이트 universities of Strathclyde and Glasgow.

The majority of those surveyed said that 바카라사이트 next government should focus on reducing 바카라사이트 deficit as its main priority.

Over half said that Labour would be 바카라사이트 best party to manage public services including 바카라사이트 NHS, and two-fifths believed 바카라사이트 Conservatives could manage 바카라사이트 economy successfully.
