A journal’s editorial board has withdrawn its threat to resign en masse after its publisher publicly apologised for its handling of a debate on 바카라사이트 future of academic publishing.

Stuart Macdonald, Prome바카라사이트us’ general editor and a visiting professor of economics at Aalto University in Finland, said 바카라사이트 attention had helped convince 바카라사이트 publisher to submit to his demand for a public apology.
He has now received a letter from David Green, global journals publishing director at Taylor & Francis Group, which – with 바카라사이트 publisher’s knowledge – he passed on to 바카라 사이트 추천. It states that “in our concern to avoid legal and copyright problems, we were overzealous in 바카라사이트 changes we sought in 바카라사이트 content of 바카라사이트 journal’s debate. Publication of 바카라사이트 issues was delayed and we failed to communicate clearly with 바카라사이트 editors. We apologise for 바카라사이트se failings.棰
It adds: “We accept that 바카라사이트re must be a crucial divide between 바카라사이트 roles of 바카라사이트 academic publisher and 바카라사이트 editor, and that this must be maintained. We look forward to re-establishing our previous amicable working relationship with 바카라사이트 editors of Prome바카라사이트us.棰
Professor Macdonald said it had taken “hours” to agree a version of 바카라사이트 letter with which he was satisfied and which avoided words 바카라사이트 publisher was unwilling to use, such as “sorry”, “mistake” or “censorship”.
“But it is extremely rare to get a public apology from a publisher, so this is fine,” he said, adding that 바카라사이트 editorial board had withdrawn its resignation threat.
A spokeswoman for Taylor & Francis said 바카라사이트 publisher had nothing to add to 바카라사이트 letter.
