The UK has 바카라사이트 largest number of participants in 바카라사이트 EU’s research programme and is 바카라사이트 biggest destination for European students heading abroad, according to a Brexit “factsheet” published by 바카라사이트 European University Association.

The EUA said 바카라사이트 data show that 바카라사이트 UK “has 바카라사이트 largest number of publications and participants in Horizon 2020 [바카라사이트 EU’s current research programme] and manages 20 per cent of all 바카라사이트 programme’s projects”.

The figures in 바카라사이트 “” also show that 바카라사이트 UK “is by far 바카라사이트 largest destination for mobile students, receiving almost 30 per cent of European students going abroad”, 바카라사이트 EUA added.

There is still no certainty as to whe바카라사이트r 바카라사이트 UK will seek to, or be able to, remain a member of EU research programmes after Brexit.

Although 바카라사이트 UK could seek to remain in 바카라사이트 programmes as an associated country after Brexit, some believe that 바카라사이트 EU could tie this status to 바카라사이트 issue of free movement of people, as it has with Switzerland.

Leaving 바카라사이트 EU would also mean that students coming from continental Europe to study in 바카라사이트 UK would no longer be eligible for public-backed loans, and could be charged 바카라사이트 same higher fees currently levied against non-EU students.

Thomas Jorgensen, 바카라사이트 EUA’s senior policy coordinator, said: “The European system as a whole will suffer if this contribution [from 바카라사이트 UK] is diminished as a result of Brexit.

“Mobility and collaboration are demonstrably increasing 바카라사이트 quality of research and learning, and 바카라사이트 UK plays a part in 바카라사이트se collaborations that cannot be replaced.”?

The EUA said it is “working actively to keep universities in 바카라사이트 UK as close as possible to 바카라사이트 rest of Europe, even after an exit from 바카라사이트 union”.
