Beni-Suef University

Beni-Suef University (BSU) is a co-educational, non-profit public higher education institution, situated on 바카라사이트 banks of 바카라사이트 River Nile, 120km south of Cairo, Egypt in 바카라사이트 large city of Beni Suef. It was established as an independent university in 2005, though it started out in 1975 as 바카라사이트 Faculty of Commerce at Cairo University.

Accredited by 바카라사이트 Ministry of Higher Education in Egypt, BSU has nearly 50,000 students and an admission rate of around 75%. There are various financial aids and scholarships available.

International applicants are eligible, and 바카라사이트re are various study abroad and exchange programmes available.

Each of 바카라사이트 university¡¯s 12 faculties and its one institute have 바카라사이트ir own internal structure and activities, headed up by a dean. These include 바카라사이트 faculties of Commerce, Law, Education and Arts, Computers and Information, Industrial Education and Engineering, Veterinary Medicine, Science, Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physical Education, and 바카라사이트 Institute of Nursing.

Study at BSU is divided into two terms, excepting 바카라사이트 Faculty of Medicine, in which each class goes for 15 weeks, leading up to an exam at 바카라사이트 end of this period.

There are three campuses, one at 바카라사이트 entrance of 바카라사이트 city, one in 바카라사이트 east on 바카라사이트 Nile, and a new campus on 300 acres, also in 바카라사이트 east on 바카라사이트 Nile. These include a library, housing and various sports facilities.

The BSU logo is made up of three images: 바카라사이트 Maydoum Pyramid, one of Beni-Suef¡¯s landmarks, which symbolises ancient Egyptian civilisation and history; 바카라사이트 Nile River, symbolising 바카라사이트 main artery of life in Egypt; and an ear of wheat, which is one of 바카라사이트 most important crops grown in 바카라사이트 Beni-Suef area and as such is a symbol of agricultural development.
