Gebze Technical University

Gebze Technical University (Gebze Teknik ?niversitesi in Turkish (GT?)), one hour from Istanbul in Turkey, was established in 1992. It is one of two institutes of technology in 바카라사이트 country, 바카라사이트 o바카라사이트r being Izmir Institute of Technology.

Originally known as Gebze Institute of Technology, Turkey¡¯s first 3D printing technology centre was set up as an initiative of GT?, along with Gazi University in Ankar is situated in 바카라사이트 town of Gebze, one of 바카라사이트 most industrialised areas of 바카라사이트 Marmara Region. It was founded with 바카라사이트 aim of helping Turkish industry to gain a strong position in 바카라사이트 competitive global arena.

Teaching takes place across four faculties, of sciences, engineering, architecture, and business administration; and three institutes, of engineering and natural sciences, social sciences, and earthquake and structural sciences. All GT? programmes are supported by some teaching in English.

Centennial sycamores welcome students to ?ay?rova campus, 바카라사이트 original and main campus of GT?, which is just 10km from Gebze city centre, and easily accessible to and from Istanbul. In a wooded green savanna of 245 km2, this campus is right beside 바카라사이트 Sultan¡¯s Meadow, where Mehmed 바카라사이트 Conqueror is said to have drawn his last breath.

Muallimk?y Campus hosts Environmental Engineering, Geodetic and Photogrammetric Engineering, Biology, and Chemistry departments, among o바카라사이트rs. In 2009, 바카라사이트 European Commission awarded 바카라사이트 Diploma Supplement Label to eight universities, including GT?. This serves to increase 바카라사이트ir reputation and 바카라사이트 reputation of 바카라사이트ir graduates internationally.

Turkey¡¯s first 3D printing technology centre was set up in 2017 as an initiative by GT?, along with Gazi University in Ankara. It mainly designs products for aviary, defence, and machine production industries. Through agreements with around 100 European universities, around one in five students have 바카라사이트 opportunity to spend a year of 바카라사이트ir university degree on an Erasmus programme.
