Jeffrey J. O. Tsai, president of Asia University, Taiwan, will deliver a keynote speech on establishing a young and dynamic university, while Alan Lau, pro vice-chancellor of research performance and development at Swinburne University of Technology, will explore how a university��s research strategy can drive success in world university rankings.

Meanwhile, Caroline McMillen, vice-chancellor of 바카라사이트 University of Newcastle will discuss successful East-West university partnerships with Sinn-Wen Chen, vice-president of National Tsing Hua University, and Wen-Hwa Lee, chancellor of China Medical University, Taiwan, will speak about developing a global and distinct research university.

The event will also include a panel discussion on government policies to support research excellence with executive chair of 바카라사이트 Resolution Foundation and former UK minister for universities and science Lord David Willetts.

Meng-Hwa Er, vice-president (international affairs) at Nanyang Technological University, will be leading a panel discussion about how universities can develop a thriving research culture.
