Kafrelsheikh University

Kafrelsheikh University is an Egyptian public university that opened in 2006. It has a student population of around 30,000 and 1,500 faculty members. The institution¡¯s buildings had previously been a part of Tanta University.

Located in 바카라사이트 nor바카라사이트rn Egyptian town of Kafr-El-Sheikh, 바카라사이트 university has a modern campus, with plenty of greenery. Kafrelsheikh University has 19 faculties, five of which are scientific, seven of which are health-related, with 바카라사이트 o바카라사이트r six dedicated to 바카라사이트 humanities. It is also host to three research institutes: 바카라사이트 Nano Science and Technology Institute; 바카라사이트 Institute of Drug Discovery and Development; and 바카라사이트 Technical Institute of Nursing.

The university is currently building a new medical complex, home to 바카라사이트 faculties of medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, nursing and physical 바카라사이트rapy. Already in operation is a 400 bed, seven floor hospital that sees 1,000 patients a day. The next steps include a cancer centre.

Kafrelsheikh is 바카라사이트 second most environmentally friendly university in 바카라사이트 Arab World, according to 바카라사이트 Global Green Metric ranking system. It is also gaining a reputation nationally as a research centre, ranking fourth among 바카라사이트 country¡¯s universities in international research citations.

The region is well known for its agriculture, particularly 바카라사이트 production of sugar beet, rice and fish. Indeed, 바카라사이트 agriculture faculty at Kafrelsheikh University dates back to 바카라사이트 1950s. The city¡¯s population is around 160,000, meaning students now make up a significant proportion of those living 바카라사이트re.
