Soran University

Soran University was established in 2009 by 바카라사이트 Kurdistan Regional Government.

There are five faculties within 바카라사이트 university: 바카라사이트 faculty of arts, faculty of education, faculty of law, faculty of science, and 바카라사이트 faculty of engineering. Each faculty is divided into a number of departments, which offer a range of courses at bachelor, masters and doctoral level.

The Scientific Research Centre is a joint academic initiative between Soran University and 바카라사이트 University of Leicester in 바카라사이트 UK. The centre was founded in 2013 in order to develop scientific research in Kurdistan in 바카라사이트 fields of applied and human sciences. Research at 바카라사이트 centre is focused primarily on petroleum geosciences but extends to include 바카라사이트 fields of ecology, chemistry, environment, molecular biology, paleoclimatology, ma바카라사이트matical modelling and GIS.

The Academic Relations Directorate is responsible for overseeing and improving 바카라사이트 university¡¯s international relations. The university has developed partnerships with higher education institutions around 바카라사이트 world to facilitate academic and scientific exchanges. Students are given 바카라사이트 opportunity to study at one of 바카라사이트 university¡¯s partner institutions for a semester or a full academic year.

As its name suggests, 바카라사이트 university is located in Soran. Soran is 바카라사이트 capital of 바카라사이트 Soran District and is situated in 바카라사이트 triangular area of land between Iran, Iraq and Turkey. The city is surrounded by a number of mountain ranges including Hassen Bak, Hendrin, Zozik, Bradust and Korek.
