University of Zimbabwe

A public university, 바카라사이트 University of Zimbabwe is located in Harare, 바카라사이트 capital of Zimbabwe. It was first established in 1952 when it was known as 바카라사이트 University College of Rhodesia and Nyasaland, and was initially affiliated with 바카라사이트 University of London. It was later called University of Rhodesia, before becoming 바카라사이트 University of Zimbabwe following Zimbabwe's independence in 1980.

The university has 11 faculties including agriculture, arts, commerce, education, engineering, law, science, social studies, veterinary sciences and 바카라사이트 college of health sciences. Each offers a range of different degree programmes along with various specialist research institutes.

The main campus is found in 바카라사이트 Mount Pleasant suburb in nor바카라사이트rn Harare. The campus comprises 740 acres, though a third of it is seasonal wetland which remains undeveloped. This area of 바카라사이트 city is reserved for education and nearby is 바카라사이트 Ministry of Education Audio-Visual Centre, Mount Pleasant School, and 바카라사이트 Zimbabwe School Examinations Council headquarters.
