Michael Barnes, previously professor of Scandinavian philology, has been made chair of Scandinavian studies.

UNIVERSITY OF NORTHUMBRIA

Susan Proctor, former nurse and research fellow in 바카라사이트 department of nursing and community health studies at 바카라사이트 Polytechnic of 바카라사이트 South Bank, has been appointed as 바카라사이트 first professor of nursing.

UNIVERSITY OF GLASGOW

John Welsh, medical director of Hunters Hill Marie Curie Centre in Glasgow, has been appointed to 바카라사이트 Olav Kerr chair of palliative medicine; Colin Espie, consultant clinical psychologist with Consulting and Clinical Psychology Services of Ayrshire and Arran Community Health Care NHS Trust has been appointed to 바카라사이트 chair of clinical psychology.

UNIVERSITY OF DERBY

The following have been appointed to new professorships within 바카라사이트 school of business: David Gowland, former Bank of England adviser, will be responsible for 바카라사이트 division of economics; Steve Letza, currently at 바카라사이트 University of Bradford, will be responsible for 바카라사이트 division of financial reporting; Graham Hall, formerly of Manchester Business School, will take up his post on completion of a comparative study of small businesses in 바카라사이트 European Union.
