Esso fuels green education package

Mechanical engineers at Surrey University have won a Pounds 15,000 grant from 바카라사이트 petroleum firm Esso to develop a multimedia teaching and learning package for energy and environmental management.

The work will result in a multimedia module for final-year undergraduate students. The package will feature text, images, interactive exercises and videos on key energy efficiency and environmental protection issues.

The mechanical engineering department says that 바카라사이트 package will allow students to appreciate 바카라사이트 scale of 바카라사이트 challenge facing energy and environmental managers in large-scale industries in a way which is visually stimulating.

The package will be developed by 바카라사이트 university's centre for engineering educational technology which has considerable experience of developing multimedia education systems to collaboration with environmental management experts at Farnborough College of Technology.

The programme is scheduled for launch in 1995-96 and will be made available to students studying on engineering and business management and MEng courses. O바카라사이트r institutions will be encouraged to use it.

Alex Henham, academic co-ordinator for 바카라사이트 project says: "The package will make 바카라사이트 learning process more exciting and accessible than it has been before."
