LIVING LANDSCAPE

An exhibition of Shobha Banerjee's paintings will be shown at 바카라사이트 Commonwealth Institute from April 28 to June 18. The artist's work questions her sense of place and her French-Indian upbringing lends a unique insight into notions of history, culture and environment. An exhibition organised by MA gallery studies students at 바카라사이트 University of Essex will present perfume as a luxury product from an alternative viewpoint. Artefacts will range from ancient Egyptian deities to designs by Schiaparelli and Lalique. The Council on International Educational Exchange has organised a one-day conference on "Emerging Patterns in Anglo-American Higher Education" on May 19 at The American Embassy, 24 Grosvenor Square, London. The introduction of modular schemes and semesterisation in UK institutions has generated heated debates.
