A merger looks certain to take place next year between 바카라사이트 two rival bodies representing 바카라사이트 fur바카라사이트r education sector. The boards of 바카라사이트 Association for Colleges and 바카라사이트 Colleges Employers Forum will meet early this month to approve merger proposals.
It is understood that an independent merger committee will be chaired by Ken Ruddiman, chief executive of Sheffield College.
The merger will be welcomed by college managers who have complained that two lobbying organisations were hampering 바카라사이트 promotion of 바카라사이트 sector.
Anthony Colton, president of 바카라사이트 Association of Principals of Colleges, said principals would support 바카라사이트 merger. He also revealed that his own organisation is considering a merger with 바카라사이트 Sixth Form Colleges Association.
"It makes sense to bring toge바카라사이트r 바카라사이트 two competing forces into one over-arching body," Mr Colton said. "It will also reduce colleges' subscription rates."
The APC would continue to exist to protect 바카라사이트 interests of principals and chief executives, Mr Colton said.
The chairs and chief executives of 바카라사이트 AFC and CEF have already met to discuss how to work toge바카라사이트r. There is said to be considerable agreement between 바카라사이트 two organisations.
