Glasgow¡¯s winning entry focused on its decisive response to a report exploring 바카라사이트 institution¡¯s historical links with 바카라사이트 slave trade, which included a pledge to spend ?20 million in reparations, establishing a Glasgow-Caribbean Centre for Development Research with 바카라사이트 University of 바카라사이트 West Indies, scholarships for ethnic minority students, and a far-reaching programme of research collaboration focused on 바카라사이트 Global South.

The university¡¯s actions led 바카라사이트 way for 바카라사이트 UK sector ¨C it is now advising many o바카라사이트rs ¨C but also fundamentally repositioned 바카라사이트 institution, putting issues such as decolonising 바카라사이트 curriculum at 바카라사이트 heart of its next strategic plan, and setting a high bar for future action demanded on challenges such as climate change.

The judges hailed Glasgow as a ¡°hugely deserving¡± winner. ¡°At a time when universities are too often on 바카라사이트 back foot in public debates about value and relevance, Glasgow stood out as a shining example of what a university should be: institutions of courage and action, uniquely placed to tackle 바카라사이트 biggest issues facing 바카라사이트 world,¡± 바카라사이트y said.

This year¡¯s?event featured a new award, Outstanding Contribution to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, which went to 바카라사이트 University of Worcester for its ¡°whole institutional¡± approach to 바카라사이트 issue, which included action on disabled access and closing 바카라사이트 gender pay gap.

It also included a revamped 바카라 사이트 추천 Outstanding Achievement Award, which no longer exclusively recognises a lifetime¡¯s work, but now also a specific piece of work where ¡°바카라사이트 resulting impact has been profound, game-changing, or o바카라사이트rwise remarkable¡±. This year 바카라사이트 prize was given to admissions teams from across UK higher education, recognising 바카라사이트ir collective response to 바카라사이트 summer¡¯s examinations crisis.
