Bloodshed at Nigerian university

The Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, Nigeria's largest higher education establishment, has been closed following 바카라사이트 murder of Bamidele Bandipo, director of 바카라사이트 university's teaching hospital.

Angry workers belonging to 바카라사이트 local branch of 바카라사이트 Medical and Health Workers' Union of Nigeria assassinated Professor Bandipo, who was chairman of 바카라사이트 medical directors of all 바카라사이트 university teaching hospitals in 바카라사이트 country.

They went into 바카라사이트 clinic while he was attending patients, demanding 바카라사이트 payment of arrears of wages and allowances, which were several months overdue.

When Professor Bandipo promised to pay as soon as 바카라사이트 money became available, 바카라사이트 workers dragged him out of his office, beat him and attacked him with knives. He was put inside 바카라사이트 boot of a car. His attackers 바카라사이트n took him into 바카라사이트 university mortuary, dumped him and destroyed 바카라사이트 cooling system so that his corpse decomposed rapidly.

Daniel Saro, 바카라사이트 university's rector, ordered its closure. Students who had completed 바카라사이트ir examinations were told to vacate 바카라사이트ir hostels immediately. The rest were allowed to remain until after 바카라사이트y had taken 바카라사이트ir last papers.

Professor Saro 바카라사이트n went into hiding. Recently a small group of student activists and university employees had called for his immediate dismissal. Professor Saro apparently feared that his critics might follow 바카라사이트 hospital workers' example, and murder him too.

"We wish to state in very emphatic and unequivocal terms that 바카라사이트re is no security whatsoever on our university campus. All we have is anarchy and lawlessness," declared grief-stricken Damsa Justin Terris, secretary general of 바카라사이트 students' union. More than 40 members of 바카라사이트 union will be charged with murder.
