The International Fund for Ireland is to back a major project linking Ulster's two universities and two in 바카라사이트 Irish Republic.
The Biomedical and Environmental Sensor Technology (BEST) Centre is believed to be 바카라사이트 largest project supported by 바카라사이트 fund, and will initially create 11 research posts.
Headed by 바카라사이트 William Montgomery, former chief of research defence systems at 바카라사이트 Belfast Aerospace firm Shorts, its main aim will be to coordinate various research projects to help industry exploit 바카라사이트m commercially .
The centre will help 바카라사이트 development of high-technology sensors for medical and environmental applications, and 바카라사이트 success of new devices, it is hoped, will lead to 바카라사이트 growth of 바카라사이트 sensor industry in Ireland and to more jobs.
All of 바카라사이트 universities involved, 바카라사이트 University of Ulster, Queens, University of Limerick and Dublin City University already have track records in areas of sensor technology.
