Exhibition petition

Signatures are rapidly being collected in university circles in Hungary for a petition to save 바카라사이트 proposed 1996 international exhibition, intended to commemorate 바카라사이트 1,100th anniversary of 바카라사이트 arrival of 바카라사이트 Magyars.

The exhibition was scheduled to take place on a site in Buda, close to 바카라사이트 Technical University.

Fundraising for 바카라사이트 rehabilitation of 바카라사이트 site, a run-down industrial plot, was to be raised by 바카라사이트 sale of public bonds. When 바카라사이트 exhibition closed, 바카라사이트 site would be converted to a new campus.

Higher education facilities in Budapest are very cramped, and 바카라사이트 site seemed a godsend to academics. It was expected that Budapest's premier higher education establishment, 바카라사이트 Eotvocs Lorand University, in cramped quarters on 바카라사이트 Pest side of 바카라사이트 river, would be a beneficiary.

But plans for 바카라사이트 exhibition ran into financial difficulties, and, after prolonged political hassles, 바카라사이트 government decided to cancel. The announcement was accompanied by assurances that this would not affect plans for a new campus.

Funding of higher education is in disarray. Plans to introduce tuition fees had to be ditched at 바카라사이트 last moment, since no safety-net had been devised for students in conditions of financial hardship.

The government pledge to complete 바카라사이트 Buda campus even without 바카라사이트 exhibition carried no commitment to a date. Saving 바카라사이트 exhibition may yet save 바카라사이트 university campus.
