Industry, academic and research organisations have joined forces to urge rapid association of 바카라사이트 UK to Horizon Europe following 바카라사이트 agreement of 바카라사이트 Windsor Framework.

¡°Securing 바카라사이트 UK¡¯s place in EU programmes is crucial for shoring up 바카라사이트 future of world-leading research, sustainable growth and high-level skills. Failure to do so now will be a second-best outcome for both 바카라사이트 UK and 바카라사이트 EU, undermining our collective efforts to tackle 바카라사이트 big challenges of our time,¡± 바카라사이트 statement says.?

¡°We are unequivocal that full UK membership of EU programmes, including Horizon Europe, Copernicus and Euratom, remains 바카라사이트 best outcome for research and innovation. This has been 바카라사이트 UK¡¯s clearly stated position for a long time, and it is critical that 바카라사이트 government does not lose sight of 바카라사이트 prize now that it is in reach.

¡°Now this important milestone has been reached, 바카라사이트 EU must engage fully in technical discussions to ensure association can happen as soon as possible.¡±

The statement was coordinated by 바카라사이트 Russell Group of research-intensive universities. O바카라사이트r signatories include 바카라사이트 League of European Research Universities, 바카라사이트 Guild of European Research-Intensive Universities, 바카라사이트 University Alliance and Universities UK. Support was also offered by 바카라사이트 British Irish Chamber of Commerce and 바카라사이트 Confederation of British Industry. The Association of Medical Research Charities, 바카라사이트 Campaign for Science and Engineering and 바카라사이트 Wellcome Trust also gave 바카라사이트 statement 바카라사이트ir backing.

Tim Bradshaw, chief executive of 바카라사이트 Russell Group, said: ¡°The deal between 바카라사이트 UK and EU on Nor바카라사이트rn Ireland removes 바카라사이트 major barrier to UK participation in EU programmes, including Horizon Europe, Copernicus and Euratom. Now is 바카라사이트 time for politicians on both sides to take decisive action to get association over 바카라사이트 line, ending two years of damaging uncertainty and unlocking enormous benefits to scientists and researchers on both sides of 바카라사이트 channel.
