Glasgow School of Art director Tom Inns steps down

The director of 바카라사이트 Glasgow School of Art has stepped down after five years at 바카라사이트 helm and two serious fires at 바카라사이트 institution.

Tom Inns, who led 바카라사이트 GSA since 2013, said that after navigating 바카라사이트 institution through 바카라사이트 challenges of fire recovery twice, it was ¡°now time for a new director to work with 바카라사이트 board to deliver 바카라사이트 future vision¡±, which includes plans to rebuild 바카라사이트 damaged Mackintosh Building.

Earlier this year a fire ripped through 바카라사이트 art nouveau masterwork, as restoration work continued following a blaze?that?destroyed much of its famous library in 2014.

At 바카라사이트 time, Professor Inns said that staff were ¡°heartbroken¡± by 바카라사이트 second fire at 바카라사이트 building, which occurred just months before a ?32 million restoration was due to be completed following 바카라사이트 first fire.

Professor Inn said that 바카라사이트 GSA was ¡°an exceptional place¡±, which had ¡°worked tirelessly to stabilise 바카라사이트 building as quickly as possible¡± to minimise disruption to 바카라사이트 local community and to reopen?바카라사이트 campus for 바카라사이트 new academic year.

Muriel Gray, chair of 바카라사이트 board of governors, said that 바카라사이트 board and 바카라사이트 school wished Professor Inns ¡°all 바카라사이트 very best for 바카라사이트 future¡±.

¡°He has had 바카라사이트 most challenging tenure at 바카라사이트 helm of GSA and we are truly grateful for all his enormous commitment and hard work ¨C especially over 바카라사이트 course of 바카라사이트 past few months,¡± Ms Gray said.

Until a successor is found 바카라사이트 institution will be led by 바카라사이트 school¡¯s deputy directors Irene McAra-McWilliam and Ken Neil.
