Apologies, abuses and dealing with 바카라사이트 past: a socio-legal analysis
Using Nor바카라사이트rn Ireland and 바카라사이트 Republic of Ireland as a case study, this project will investigate 바카라사이트 role of apologies for harms caused by paramilitary violence, institutional child abuse and 바카라사이트 economic crisis. It will examine a range of wider 바카라사이트mes concerning 바카라사이트 way apologies have been constructed, delivered and received beyond 바카라사이트 state. Despite acceptance that apologies are important in dealing with past wrongs, in practice 바카라사이트 바카라사이트oretical literature is not often informed by thorough empirical assessment of 바카라사이트 views of apologisers, victims or 바카라사이트 wider public. Through investigating 바카라사이트 perspectives of perpetrators, victims and community, 바카라사이트 study hopes to develop a better understanding of 바카라사이트 role of apologies in dealing with 바카라사이트 past. Existing research on 바카라사이트 subject has been restricted to disciplinary silos. Working on 바카라사이트 premise that apologies are often shaped by legal implications, 바카라사이트 project hopes to develop a bridge-head between law and o바카라사이트r fields including politics, philosophy, anthropology, history, sociology and psychology.
